I received this in the mail today and at first I thought I just wasted my money. When buying it I was a little wary about the contrast collar, and I initially wasn’t a fan of it. Because there is no collar on this shirt it had a tendency to lay flat against my chest and I looked like a Quaker, with the contrast collar. I wore it for a bit and it doesn’t lay flat against my chest as much and looks a bit more natural. I was getting a bit tired of wearing the same three shirts that are exactly the same but a different colour, so I decided to try something new this summer. There was also multiple discussions on Twitter about mandarin collared shirts. This came on sale so I bit the bullet.
Different collar and everything aside, this shirt is ridiculously nice for LEC. They have definitely changed something this season. Not only is the fit better, but the oxford cloth is just as nice as Brooks Bros. or nicer. I definitely recommend checking out their new collection.
On another note, I’ve grown and my EP chinos are too small now.
